4BR Family House in Neve Tsedek with Mamad by Holyguest

Caveat emptor!!!! Probably my worst Airbnb experience ever. This property has clearly not been cared for properly for a number of years. It is rundown and not in working order. The furniture is old and tatty, the windows were filthy, the walls were dirty. The toilet in the upper floor room was out of order entirely and the "terrace" was apparently also the storage area for a bicycle. The porch off the upper floor was covered in dead plants with graffiti all over the walls. The a/c in the master bedroom was very noisy and the shower head leaked like a fountain. The toilet on the middle floor worked poorly - difficult to flush and took forever to fill up. The kitchen was minimally equipped: no coffee cups, no option for coffee apart from a Nespresso, no toaster....and the dishwasher did not work. Despite numerous SMS to the number given to us and responses promising a visit to address the issues, nothing happened. I'd advise not to use this host.

הגענו לנכס לסופ"ש משפחתי וקבלת הפנים הייתה לא טובה. -מבחינת ניקיון: בהגיענו לנכס היה ריח רע מאוד - ריח של ריסוס שלא אווררו אחריו. היו ג'וקים ומאות זבובונים בחדרי הרחצה ובחדר שבמרתף. נראה שאף אחד לא בדק את הנכס לפני שנכנסנו אליו. -מבחינת תחזוקה: הקומקום במטבח עובד רק אם לוחצים על המתג עד שהמים רותחים. טבליות המדיח שסופקו היו רטובות ולא פעלו טוב. בקומת המרתף דלת השירותים לא נסגרת עד הסוף. בנוסף, מאוד מאוד קשה לפתוח את שער הכניסה והוא צריך תיקון. לסיכום, היתרון הבולט של הנכס הוא המיקום, ממש בלב שכונת נווה צדק ובמרחק הליכה מכל המסעדות ומוקדי העניין, אך התחזוקה של הנכס גרועה וזה ממש חבל. חובה לציין שהדירה לא נועדה לילדים קטנים בגלל היעדר מעקה לאורך כל ארבעת המפלסים.

Very nice stay at Chelouche house. Bedrooms were spacious. The host was quick to remedy an issue we had with the air conditioner, and otherwise was fast to respond. As others mentioned, there are 4 half floors which was fine for us but anyone with mobility problems should avoid.

I recently stayed at this apartment and I have some feedback to share. The overall experience was just okay and below my expectations. The main concern I had was with the stairs. They are very dangerous because they don't have a railing. This is a serious safety issue. I believe the stairs should be fixed as soon as possible. On a positive note, the location is perfect. There are lots of things to do in the area and it's convenient for exploring nearby attractions. However, because of the stairs, I wouldn't recommend this apartment for people with young children or anyone who might have trouble with unstable stairs. It's important for future guests to know about this so they can make a safe decision when booking.
